Random Interview: Kandi J. Wyatt

We captured Kandi J. Wyatt and interrogated her with our super important questions. Now you will all know the mysteries… we present you, Author Kandi J. Wyatt’s RANDOM INTERVIEW!!!!

What method do you suggest for dealing with dragons?

Well, dragons can be very finicky and dangerous creatures. The best policy is to treat them with respect, understanding, and when they’re ready to blow fire at you, give them what they want!

You have superpowers. What are they and what do you do with them?

Well, some would say my superpower is managing my schedule and actually getting work done. However, if I was able to choose one, it’d be the ability to control the weather. I always liked Storm from the Fantastic Four, and living on the Oregon Coast, where the weather isn’t always predictable, there are many times where I’d love to change it.

You can have ANY creature as a pet, even mythical ones. What’s your first pick?

Probably a dragon, even though it’d be difficult to keep in my area. Then again, if it was a little one, it’d fit right in.

What is your ideal writing space?

Anywhere where it’s quiet. I’ve written in my classroom, in a car, at a coffee shop, and in my bedroom. Last May, I finally got my own space in a small room with walls covered in maps. I love my little dragon den.

Favorite flavor (of what? EVERYTHING!)?

Dark chocolate, of course! Add peanut butter and it’s even better.

Did you bring me anything?

If the you is H. L. Burke, then cats or dragons or best yet, a catdragon! If it’s anyone else, I tend to match gifts to the person.

When cats take over the world, how do you plan to win their good graces?

Give them treats, scratches behind the ears, and a lap to sit on.

If you had to get stuck inside a television show, what would it be?

Growing up, my sister and I used to do this all the time in our play. I was a supporting character in Little House on the Prairie, Knight Rider, CHiPs, and Bonanza many times. I guess if I had to choose now, it’d be Re:Creators, an anime where the characters from popular anime, video games, and manga come to life in the real world.
